The Restylane Family of Injectables
The good news about aging is that you can do something about it in both the face and hands with products in the Restylane family — to help reveal a younger-looking you.
The Restylane family of Injectables includes Restylane, Refyne, Defyne, Lyft and each specializes in a particular funcction or more.
The Restylane® line naturally smooths away facial wrinkles and folds (Restylane, Restylane Lyft, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne), provides subtle lip enhancement (Restylane, Restylane Silk), smooths the lines around the mouth (Restylane Silk), adds lift and volume to the cheeks (Restylane Lyft), and helps reverse the signs of volume loss in the back of the hands (Restylane Lyft).

The Ravanesse Family of Injectibles
Ravanesse® Versa™ is a hyaluronic acid dermal filler that can be used to treat moderate to severe facial wrinkles and foldes, including nasolabial folds. Versa was designed for safety, immediate results and less sweelling plus it last for 1 year.
Ravanesse® Lips™+ was designed for use in lips in patients 22 years of age or more. Lips™ is well liked by patients with a whopping 94.3% rated themselves as “improved” or “much improved” and more than 98% reporting that they had no or very little swelling after their first treatment. Lips can be enhanced with only minimal downtime, substantially less pain (than competitive injectables) and at a lower price point (because less product is needed to create great results)!
Sculptra
As we age, our skin’s natural collagen supply decreases (by age 45, we will have lost up to 25% of our collagen!) and wrinkles and facial aging is the result.
Sculptra Aesthetic is an amazing product that activates the skin’s natural regenerative process and help replenish lost collagen. The Sculptra injectable subtly and gradually over time helps restore facial volume.
The Radiesse Family of Injectables
Radiesse® and Radiesse+® are dermal fillers that are used to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the creases that extend from the corner of your nose to the corner of your mouth, called the Nasolabial Folds. Radiesse® is one of the few products that people love to use for correcting volume loss in the back of the hands.
Kybella
Kybella® is a very special product as it is the only injectible designed specificlly to treat a “double chin”. Kybella® is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, destroying fat cells and producing gradual results. Everyone’s chin profile is different, so Aestheics Office will tailor your treatment to your special situation. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals.
Pre-Injectable Skincare
Post-Injectable Skincare
- For optimal results, please consult with your doctor regarding avoiding blood-thinning medications and supplements for one week prior to your appointment. This includes over-the-counter medication such as aspirin, Motrin, ibuprofen, and Aleve. Also avoid herbal supplements such as garlic, vitamin E, ginko biloba, St. John’s Wort and omega-3 capsules. If you have a cardiovascular history, please check with your doctor prior to stopping use of aspirin.
- Inform your provider if you have a history of Perioral Herpes to receive advice on antiviral therapy prior to treatment. (Valtrex 500 mg BID, 5 days, start 2 days prior to treatment)
- Avoid Retin-A or other retinols, retinoids, glycolic acid, alpha hydroxy acid, or any “anti-aging” products for two days before and after treatment.
- Do not drink alcoholic beverages 24 hours before or after your treatment to avoid extra bruising.
- Please consult with your doctor prior to using dermal fillers if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or suffer from any neurological disorders.
- Wait a minimum of four weeks before adding in any additional skin care or laser treatments.
- Don’t start any new products to wash and moisturize your skin and be gentle with your skin for the first few days.
- Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area unless instructed to do so by Aesthetics Office.
- Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
- Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
- Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid excessive swelling.
- If you have swelling, you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
- Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) for discomfort.
- Try to sleep face up and slightly elevated if you experience swelling.
- Take Arnica (typically found in health food stores) to help the bruising and swelling. Begin taking at least two days prior to injections.
- Wait a minimum of four weeks before adding in any additional skin care or laser treatments.
- Don’t start any new products to wash and moisturize your skin and be gentle with your skin for the first few days.
- The most typical side effects (bruising, swelling, redness) are temporary and will resolve. However, please call the office to notify us if you experience any additional side effects.
